Bears Rally to Win, 7-6
The Baylor Bears wiggled past the South Mississippi Golden Eagles, 7-6, in 11 innings at Wolverines Stadium. The win was highlighted by the performance of Baylor left fielder Jesse Lewis. The loss puts South Mississippi at 6-1.

Baylor got a knockout punch from Mark Shannon. The first baseman hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"The crowd was juiced," said Lewis.
