6 Straight Wins for Golden Eagles
The South Mississippi Golden Eagles downed the Arizona State Sun Devils, 9-8, in 10 innings at Ballpark of Storm Lake College. Kenny Cox led the way, going 3-for-4 for South Mississippi. South Mississippi, now 6-0, is setting the league on fire so far.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when South Mississippi designated hitter Billy Rambo, facing Chase Marks, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Golden Eagles the 9-8 win.

"This place was jumping at the end," Rambo said.
