The Aiken Thoroughbreds pasted the Ft. Worth Werewolves with a convincing 27-1 defeat at Werewolves Grounds. Luis Cazares was a prime factor in the Aiken win. He was 4-6 with 2 doubles, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 7. Aiken pitcher Alex Charco got the win, upping his record to 2-0. Chris Pirela got the loss. Bert Caraballo earned the save for Aiken, his 1st.

With Aiken leading 1-0 in the top of the first, Cazares hit a slider from Jordan Lopez for a 2-run double. It was his 3rd double of the season and put the Thoroughbreds ahead, 3-0.

"We were able to put some runs on the board," said Cazares after the game.

The win gives the Thoroughbreds a record of 10-0.
