The Texas A&M Aggies electrified the home crowd with a walk-off win.

No one was more impactful than J.D. Valentine in the 6-5 Texas A&M win over Rice. Valentine was 3-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The loss has the Owls at 1-4.

The decisive blow was delivered by Alex Mack in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run home run off 19-year old right-handed pitcher Mark Henning to win the game for Texas A&M. The home crowd went nuts.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Rice manager Jeff Hulse. "The effort was great."
