Commodores Come Back Late to Top Cyclones, 5-4
In a close game at Ballpark of Barrow College, the Vanderbilt Commodores edged the Iowa State Cyclones, 5-4. Vanderbilt designated hitter Mario Estorga stood apart with his performance. He went 1-3 with 3 walks. Vanderbilt reliever Jonathan Emory picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Doug Michael took the loss. With the win, Vanderbilt boosts its record to 1-4.

The clutch at-bat in the bottom of the ninth belonged to Estorga. Facing Paul Allen with the bases loaded, the Vanderbilt designated hitter had a run-scoring walk. Game over, walk-off style!

"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Iowa State manager Felipe Arreola said, following the tough loss.
