Lewis Shines in 16-5 Baylor Win
The Baylor Bears blasted the TCU Horned Frogs, 16-5. Jesse Lewis was one of the hitting stars. He was 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2 for Baylor. Baylor reliever Ryan Ostrander picked up the win, raising his record to 1-0. Dan Gardner was tagged with the loss. With the win, Baylor improves its record to 4-0.

Baylor used a well-timed hit by Jeremy Best to capture the win. The third baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Bears ahead, 8-4. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"We're in a little bit of a dry spell," said TCU manager Masato Takagi.
