The South Carolina Gamecocks beat the Florida State Seminoles, 18-6, at Ballpark of Riverdale College. South Carolina designated hitter Dusty Stanbery earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He hit 2 home runs. He scored 4 runs and drove in 2. Matt Ennis picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Brendon Fowles was tagged with the loss. The Gamecocks, now 3-1, have hit the ground running this season.
