Jose Alfaro left his imprint on the 8-6 Toronto win against the Rancho Cucamonga. Alfaro went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Rancho now has a record of 1-5.

The Cucamonga had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Blue Jays going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 22-year old left fielder Ben Waugh came to the plate. Waugh hit a run-scoring double on a 0-1 fastball from Rancho hurler Ricky Gonzalez. It was Waugh's 3rd double of the year.
