3-1 Loss Deepens Arlington Funk

The Tulsa Titans took Arlington pitcher Kenji Sakai's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Titans Park. The final score had Tulsa getting past the Stars, 3-1. Sakai went 5.1 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 3. Mike Stone snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-0 on the season. Jose Melgar suffered the loss. The loss puts Arlington at 0-6.
Tulsa took a 3-1 lead on Luke Green's 5th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Green hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Arlington pitcher Jose Melgar visibly frustrated.
"We've hit a rough patch right now," said Arlington skipper Sergio Castaneda.
