Salukis Win at Georgia Tech, 5-3
|
The South Illinois Salukis dealt the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets a 5-3 loss at Castles Ballpark. Ricky Carter was the star on offense. He was 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. The winner in relief was Trent Coffin. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 4 hits in 2.2 innings. He now owns a record of 1-0.
