The Royal Oak Leprechauns sent the home crowd home ecstatic.

Casey Hopper led the charge as the Royal Oak Leprechauns defeated the Brighton Steelhounds, 11-10, in 10 innings at Royal Oak Field. Hopper went 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI. Royal Oak reliever Rob Alexander picked up the win, raising his record to 1-0. Carlos Fernandez was tagged with the loss.

The Leprechauns were down to their final out when catcher Tim Rock turned a full count fastball from Carlos Fernandez into a 2-run single. The walk-off single made the Royal Oak Field crowd go wild.

"He who laughs last laughs best," Hopper said, postgame.

Brighton is 3-2 after the loss.
