The first-place Calgary Hitmen picked up another win.

In a tight contest at Mckinley Park, the Calgary Hitmen edged the Minneapolis Freeze by the score of 6-5. Calgary first baseman George Deisinger, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. Eric Lewis picked up his 21st save of the season.

Deisinger had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 1-0 cutter from Matthew Otto, he banged a 2-run home run to right-center, giving the Hitmen a 6-5 lead. It was the 14th home run of the year for Deisinger.

"Fun game," said Deisinger, "even when the outcome was in doubt."

Calgary, at 56-26, is 11 games up in the RCL AAA Bobby Cox Division.
