Behind a solid performance from designated hitter Omar Aguilar, the Carolina Giants defeated the Santurce Crabbers, 6-4. Aguilar was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Giants. Trevor Biggs locked down his 12th save. Carolina now owns a record of 15-21.
Sergio Solis came through for Carolina in the bottom of the third. With no one out, Solis victimized Rafael Ramos with a 2-run home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put Carolina on top, 5-4.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Aguilar told the Carolina Bulletin.
