Ballpark of Giants was the site of a competitive game between the Carolina Giants and Santurce Crabbers.

Santurce right-hander Fernando Otero helped his team edge Carolina by the score of 3-2. Otero kept the opposing lineup in check. Santurce is in 4th place in the Roberto Clemente Division with a record of 16-19.

The standout performance belonged to 18-year-old Otero. With his baby face, he looked more like someone starting for a high school team than for the Crabbers. His performance, however, was nothing short of top-notch. The youngster dominated the Giants, striking out 11 and scattering 2 hits over 8 innings. Otero is now 2-3 on the season.

"We put together a nice win," Otero said.
