Behind a solid performance from right fielder Eddie Ramsey, the Caguas Creoles defeated the Santurce Crabbers, 10-4. Ramsey went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 times for the Creoles. The winner was Arnold Lee, who threw 96 pitches over 7 innings. The right-hander was charged with 2 runs on 5 hits. The Creoles improve their record to 17-16 with the win over Santurce.
The Creoles grabbed the lead in the top of the sixth. With two out, Adam Jeffries hit a 3-run home run off Rafael Ramos, putting Caguas in front, 6-2. For Jeffries, it was his 9th home run of the season.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Ramsey told the Caguas Herald.
