Litherland Hits 2 home runs in Indians Win
The Mayaguez Indians defeated the Santurce Crabbers, 5-3, at Ballpark of Santurce today. Leading the charge for Mayaguez was right fielder Mike Litherland. He went 3-3 with 2 home runs and was hit by a pitch, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Mayaguez is now 10-10. Santurce is 9-11.

The game was all tied up in the top of the eighth, until Litherland delivered big-time for Mayaguez, stroking a dramatic 2-run home run off Rafael Ramos. The game-changing hit put the Indians on top, 5-3.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Litherland. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
