Solis Hits 2 home runs in Giants Win
With center fielder Sergio Solis leading the charge, the Carolina Giants defeated the Santurce Crabbers, 10-8, at Ballpark of Giants. Solis, who is tied for 8th in the RCL in RBI with 10, was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. The 4th-place Giants improved to 5-7.

The Giants got a big at-bat from left fielder Jose Carbajal. For the game, Carbajal was 3 for 5 with 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 7th hit of the season gave Carolina a 4-2 lead.
