Zavala Delivers Clutch At-Bat for Santurce in Walk-Off Win
|
The Santurce Crabbers walked off with a big win today at Ballpark of Santurce.
Santurce starter Nicholas Taylor pitched effectively against the Caguas Creoles at Ballpark of Santurce. The right-hander led his team to a 4-3 win. Santurce has a record of 2-2.
Enrique Zavala drew 2 walks in 5 plate appearances for Santurce. In a tie game with one out in the bottom of the ninth, Zavala came through with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It put the Crabbers in front, 4-3.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Zavala.
