Garcia Slugs Indians to 21-11 Win
The Mayaguez Indians beat the Carolina Giants, 21-11, at Ballpark of Giants. The win was largely due to the efforts of designated hitter Eddie Garcia, who captured player of the game honors. Tony Cortez closed the game out for Mayaguez, earning his 1st save.
