Blue Sox SS Xiong goes 4-for-5 in Win
A 3-RBI performance from Hsueh-liang Xiong, who is tied for 10th in the AUB with a .545 slugging percentage, helped the Sydney Blue Sox beat the Geelong Korea, 11-8. The Blue Sox improve their record to 22-32 with the win over Geelong.

Arthur Beauvais put Sydney in front, 4-0, when he took Oliver Somerville downtown. His 2-run home run came with one out in the top of the first. It was his 8th home run of the season.

Blue Sox manager Luis Valadez wasn't all too pleased, despite the win, telling reporters that the performance highlighted some clear areas for improvement moving forward. He refused to be more specific, however. "I'm not gonna publicize our weaknesses," he said. "That stuff stays in the clubhouse."
