Brisbane catcher Vinnie Dundon was instrumental in his team's 8-3 win over the Geelong Korea. Dundon went 2-4 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Bandits. Brisbane is in second place in the Australian Baseball Northeast Division with a record of 22-19.

The Bandits got an important contribution from third baseman Rodney Mullens, who in the bottom of the fifth punched a first pitch cutter into center for a 2-run single. It was his 35th hit of the season and put the Bandits ahead, 2-0.

"I was able to barrel up some pitches," said Dundon.
