Brisbane and Melborne duked it out at Field of the Bandits and the Bandits came out victorious.

The Brisbane Bandits bested the Melborne Aces by a score of 10-8, with designated hitter Jai Coulton getting the main credit. On the day, Coulton was 2-3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2 for the Bandits. Zachary Darke, the winner, improved to 2-2. Marco Speed hit a 2-run double off Andy O'Brien in the bottom of the sixth, which put the Bandits in front, 6-4. In addition to the double, Speed had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 4.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Coulton. "And not try to do too much."
