Close Win Moves Tuatara to 14-10
Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Steven Waddingham, the Auckland Tuatara defeated the Brisbane Bandits, 6-5. Waddingham went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Tuatara. Auckland is now 14-10, Brisbane 14-10.

A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 3rd and two out in the top of the fourth inning. That's when second baseman Ji-won Kim, who is tied for 7th in the AUB in runs scored with 20, drew a walk. The Tuatara went on to win.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Auckland manager Jimmy Stott.
