It was a good time at Blue Sox Ballpark, where fans came to watch the Melborne Aces and Sydney Blue Sox get after it.

The Sydney Blue Sox topped the Melborne Aces by the score of 11-3, with the biggest share of the credit going to left fielder Norm Gallard. Gallard went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 8 RBI and scoring twice for the Blue Sox on the day. The Aces drop to 5-6 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2044 season.

Sydney took a 5-3 lead on Gallard's 5th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Shan-bo See-to in the bottom of the seventh, propelled Sydney to the win.

"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said Sydney manager Luis Valadez.
