Novara played host to Rimini at the friendly confines of Novara Ballpark.

The Novara Elettra Energia racked up a win at Novara Ballpark, bumping off the Rimini Telemarket, 7-3. Enrico Parenzan, who started for Novara, pitched effectively for his team. The second-place Elettra Energia raised their record to 22-18.

One important at-bat came with the bases loaded in the bottom of the third inning. Facing Rimini hurler Bertrando Corbucca, Reginaldo Corradini, who is tied for 5th in the SL1 with a .450 on-base percentage, hit a grand slam. The Elettra Energia went on to win.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Corradini told the Novara Observer.
