It was a fun time at Ballpark of Venice, where the Novara Elettra Energia and Grosetto Fiat tangled.

A 4-RBI performance from Gil Grancagnola, who is tied for 7th in the SL1 in RBI with 28, helped the Grosetto Fiat beat the Novara Elettra Energia, 11-7. The winner was David Torrigiani in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Daniel Scarsella took the loss.

Grancagnola put Grosetto up, 8-6, when he hit a 3-run home run off Daniel Scarsella in the bottom of the fourth. His 7th home run of the season helped the Fiat capture the win.

"I like the roll we're on," said Grosetto manager Marciano Iuliano.

The first-place Fiat have won 5 in a row.
