The Nettuno Danesi Caffe beat the Parma Cariparma, 8-3, at Baseball City. Nettuno left fielder Jocelyn Broccoli earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He went 3-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Nettuno now owns a record of 15-15.

One important at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the fourth inning. Facing Parma hurler David Marciano, Donzel Mansi, who is tied for 3rd in the SL1 in bases on balls with 21, hit a 2-run triple. The Danesi Caffe went on to win.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Mansi. "And not try to do too much."
