Grosetto and Rimini duked it out at Ballpark of Milan and the Fiat came out victorious.

The Rimini Telemarket got a superb performance from pitcher Denis Pacelli. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Grosetto. The Fiat won the game, 3-2. In spite of the loss, Pacelli was named the player of the game. He threw 8 innings of 4-hit ball. The Fiat improved to a lofty 21-9.

Grosetto designated hitter Gil Grancagnola laid a blow when he belted a solo home run in the top of the ninth. It was his 6th home run of the season. With it, the Fiat took a 3-2 lead.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Grosetto manager Marciano Iuliano.
