Fiat Continue Hot Start to Season With Win
Fans who gathered at Ballpark of Venice saw a good contest between the Grosetto Fiat and Godo De Angelis.

Grosetto pitcher Bartolomeo Petito did his part in helping his team beat the Godo De Angelis, 5-3. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Arturo Parenzan finished to wrap up his 6th save.

In the bottom of the seventh, catcher Ulrico Lagorio hit a 2-run single to right. The single, which was hit off of Joseph Colombi, gave Grosetto a 5-2 lead.

"This was a good win for us," said Petito. "It's one more step toward our ultimate goal."

Grosetto leads the Serie A1 Italy by 3 games.
