Bologna and Nettuno got after it at Baseball City.

The Bologna Unipol easily defeated the Nettuno Danesi Caffe, 16-4, at Baseball City, with designated hitter Doriano Pantoliano a main contributor to the win. He was 3 for 5 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4 for Bologna. Frederick Porcaro was the winner. Over 8 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 7 hits, with 4 walks and 3 strikeouts.

In the top of the first, Pantoliano pounced on a 1-2 fastball from Yvon Marocchi and hit a 3-run home run. It put Bologna on top, 3-0.
