Canonicca Helps Grosetto Outscore San Marino
The Grosetto Fiat powered past the San Marino T&A, 12-10, at Ballpark of Milan. Marco Canonicca hit 2 home runs. He scored 4 times and drove in 3, to lead the charge. Grosetto reliever Eugenio Mediate got the win, raising his record to 4-0. Jacques Bastedo was tagged with the loss. Arturo Parenzan earned the save, his 5th, for the Fiat.

Grosetto used the bat of Greg Glatfelter to get the win. The second baseman hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Fiat ahead, 11-10. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"Crazy game," said Canonicca after it ended.

Grosetto has an impressive 18-9 record.
