Fans who gathered at Ballpark of Milan saw a good contest between the Godo De Angelis and Rimini Telemarket.

The De Angelis faced a stiff challenge from Rimini pitcher Denis Pacelli, but persevered to claim a win at Ballpark of Milan. The final score was 6-4. Pacelli went 7 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Godo reliever Anastagio Bonometti was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Montrelle Lucchi took the loss. Armando Capirossi finished to wrap up his 4th save.

Aurelio Birindelli dealt the Telemarket a blow in the top of the ninth. Batting with the bases loaded and Godo trailing 4-3, Birindelli, who is tied for 6th in the SL1 in RBI with 18, hit a 1-1 curveball for a 2-run double.

"Winning is the only thing that really matters," Birindelli told the Godo Bulletin. "If you can win without even breaking a sweat, more power to you."

The De Angelis improve their record to 10-8 with the win over Rimini.
