Unipol Continue Skid Thanks to Bruno, T&A
|
The San Marino T&A trumped the Bologna Unipol, 10-7, at Ballpark of Bologna. San Marino center fielder Gian-Andrea Bruno was named player of the game for his performance. He went 3 for 5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 4 times. San Marino reliever Orfeo Pisani picked up the win, bumping his record to 2-0. Marcelo Baiano was collared with the loss. Kajetan Prada closed it out for his 3rd save.
San Marino left fielder Fortunato Bianchi had a key at-bat for the T&A in the top of the eighth inning. Facing Bologna pitcher Piero Panteleo, Bianchi drew a walk, driving in 1 run to make the score 9-7, San Marino. For the day, he went 2-4 with a double and a walk.
