Elettra Energia Continue Hot Start to Season With Win
|
The Novara Elettra Energia dealt the San Marino T&A a 5-2 loss at Novara Ballpark. Gautier Balbo was the star on offense. He went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Giovani Tinari got credit for the win, improving to 2-0. He allowed 2 runs on 6 hits in 7 innings. The Elettra Energia bumped their record to 6-3 with this latest triumph.
Balbo had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 1-2 sinker from Emilio Patroni, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Elettra Energia a 4-2 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Balbo.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Balbo said after the game.
