Petroni Goes Wild, But De Angelis Win
Fans at Novara Ballpark were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Novara Elettra Energia take on the Godo De Angelis.

The Godo De Angelis had to overcome a big game from Novara first baseman Ambrosi Petroni to leave Novara Ballpark with a 11-7 victory. Petroni went 3-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. At 4-2, the De Angelis have played well so far.

Napoleon Fresi was vital part of the Godo win. He went 3 for 6 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. In the top of the ninth with one out, Fresi hit a run-scoring single. It made the score 8-7, in favor of the De Angelis.

"We'll just keep our nose to the grindstone," Fresi told the Godo Bulletin.
