Florence and New York met at Gunners Ballpark in front of a lively crowd.

Florence starter Brett Wurts had a strong outing against the New York Boulders at Gunners Ballpark. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 12-1 win. At 43-30, the Y'alls are currently second in the Frontier League Midwestern Division.

The Y'alls grabbed the lead in the bottom of the fifth. With one out, Bobby Stockdill hit a grand slam home run off Ray Reames, putting Florence in front, 10-1. For Stockdill, it was his 5th home run of the season.

Y'alls manager Ruben Lampman had nothing but praise for his players after an impressive win, calling the result one of the team's best performances of the season. "Everything just came together on our end," he said. "I didn't need to do too much."
