ThunderBolts Rally For Late Win Over Aigles
The Windy City ThunderBolts trumped the Trois-Rivieres Aigles, 8-4, at Ballpark of Ecatepec College. Windy City center fielder Eric Lessard was named player of the game for his performance. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Windy City reliever Tanner Stagg got the win, raising his record to 5-0. Joe Darlage was tagged with the loss. With the win, the ThunderBolts have a record of 45-29.

Lessard had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a 0-1 fastball from Joe Darlage, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the ThunderBolts a 5-4 lead. It was the 12th home run of the year for Lessard.

Lessard said the win provided a "big morale boost" for the team. "There's a good feeling in the clubhouse right now."
