Windy City first baseman Joe Borchert had a 5-RBI performance, which helped his team grab a 15-9 win over the Southern Illinois Miners. The first-place ThunderBolts have a one-game lead in their division.

Borchert put Windy City up, 6-3, when he hit a 2-run home run off Jay Engberg in the top of the fifth. His 18th home run of the season helped the ThunderBolts capture the win.

"We played hard and won," said Borchert. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
