Boulders Roll to 9-2 Win Over Grizzlies
New York and Gateway met at Rebels Ballpark in front of a lively crowd.

The New York Boulders defeated the Gateway Grizzlies, 9-2, in FRONTIER LEAGUE action at Rebels Ballpark, with New York third baseman Mike Montague named player of the game. New York reliever Vince Dougherty picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Nate Allen absorbed the loss.

Montague hit a solo home run in the top of the first to help the New York cause. The home run, which was hit off Nate Allen, allowed New York to take a 1-0 lead.

"I like our moxie," said Boulders manager Cody Payne.

The Boulders, at 39-26, lead by one game in their division.
