The Trois-Rivieres Aigles clobbered the Evansville Otters, 12-2, at Ballpark of Ecatepec College today. Trois-Rivieres first baseman Phil Schropp was named player of the game for his productive day. He was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Ryan Malone got the win, improving to 4-3. He held the Otters to 2 earned runs on 5 hits over 5.2 innings, while striking out 7 and walking 2. With the win, Trois-Rivieres has a record of 37-29. Evansville falls to 35-31.

Schropp came through for Trois-Rivieres with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the first. He hit a 3-1 fastball to left field, staking his team to a 3-0 lead.
