Schaumburg rode a decent outing from starter Jonathan Anderson to victory over the Joilet Slammers at Kings Ballpark. The final score was 5-3. Joilet has now lost 4 straight.
Schaumburg took a 5-3 lead on Jon Elstun's 2nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Joilet pitcher Jay Braz in the bottom of the 11th.
