Y'alls Pin 4-2 Loss on Aigles

The Florence Y'alls defeated the Trois-Rivieres Aigles, 4-2, at Gunners Ballpark. Florence left fielder Elijah Caldwell was named player of the game for his superb performance. He went 1 for 2 with a double, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The Y'alls, at 33-19, lead by one game in their division.
With Florence leading 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Caldwell hit a changeup from John Strauss for a 2-run double. It was his 8th double of the season and put the Y'alls ahead, 3-0.
Trois-Rivieres manager Sean Laster said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
