Wangelin, Capitales Get 5-0 Win
|
The Quebec Capitales topped the Schaumburg Boomers, 5-0, in FRONTIER LEAGUE action at Kings Ballpark. The player of the game was Quebec pitcher Chris Wangelin. The third-place Capitales lifted their record to 31-21.
The famously hardworking Wangelin handled the Boomers all day, notching 6 strikeouts in 7 innings while allowing 2 hits. Wangelin, who is tied for 10th in the FL in innings pitched with 49.2, goes to 3-4 on the year with 49 strikeouts.
