The Washington Wild Things grabbed a 4-2 win over the Schaumburg Boomers at Colonels Ballpark. Washington left fielder Bryan Anderson hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice to earn player of the game honors. Gabe Lodge got the save, the 11th for him this season. The win puts the Wild Things at 23-25, while the Boomers drop to 22-26.
Anderson belted 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice against the Boomers. With the game tied in the bottom of the third inning, he hit a 2-run home run that scored 2 and put Washington in front, 3-1.
"We did enough to win," said Anderson.
