Otters Bang Out 8-6 Win Versus Trois-Rivieres
Evansville withstood an impressive performance by Trois-Rivieres first baseman Phil Schropp to defeat the Aigles, 8-6, at Rocketmen Ballpark. Schropp was 2-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Evansville reliever Joe Tubbs was the winner. His record is now 2-0. Bobby Polansky took the loss. Colton Guest finished the game for Evansville and earned his 3rd save.

Evansville took a 7-6 lead on David Politte's 2nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Trois-Rivieres pitcher Bobby Polansky in the bottom of the eighth.

"Winning is contagious," said Politte. "We're looking forward to the next game."

With the win, Evansville improves its record to 8-6.
