Bill Hubbard was instrumental in his team's 10-1 triumph over the San Marin Mustangs. The shortstop was 2 for 3 with a double and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Baie-Comeau All Blacks. The winner in relief was Gideon Allison. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 2.1 innings. He now owns a record of 2-1. Picking up his 1st save was 16-year old right-handed pitcher Warren Hoyles.

Mark McLeod helped his team take an early lead with a run-scoring single. It came in the first inning, making the score 1-0, All Blacks.

All Blacks manager Chris Darbonne had nothing but praise for his players after an impressive win, calling the result one of the team's best performances of the season. "Everything just came together on our end," he said. "I didn't need to do too much."

The triumph makes Baie-Comeau 18-39.
