Diaz slugs 2 home runs to Power Armada Offense
Quebec second baseman Omar Diaz helped his team beat the So Cal Republic, 12-0. Diaz, who finished 2nd in the RCL in hits with 210 in 2050, went 3 for 4 for the Armada. Bruce Gaulton, the winner, improved to 7-6. He held So Cal to no runs on 5 hits over 8.2 innings, while racking up 6 strikeouts. Quebec is now 42-52.

Helping the Quebec cause was Dan Nieman. In the top of the third, the 22-year old center fielder had a grand slam home run to make the score 7-0, Armada.

"You never take a win for granted in this league," said Diaz.
