The 2038 season is getting ugly for Montreal.

Pitman High left-hander Tim LaRock pitched his team to victory over the Montreal Cardinals at Nezahualcoyotl HS Grounds. The final score was 7-4. Derrick Daly closed the door for Pitman High, picking up his 2nd save of the year.

The Panthers got a big at-bat from first baseman Jason Williams. For the game, Williams went 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk. In the top of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 43rd hit of the season gave Pitman High a 3-2 lead.

"Being able to play a game for a living is one thing. Being able to play it well and contribute to a win is even better," Williams told the Pitman High Times.

The Panthers raised their record to 16-28.
