| Victory Pushes Park Record to 22-20 | The College Park picked up a win at Swamp Foxes Stadium, knocking off the Francis Lewis Patriots, 5-3. Starting pitcher Alan Boivin was an essential part of his team's success. Boivin went 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 9 hits, walked 2, and struck out 9. His record improves to 4-3. At 22-20, the Park are currently third in the Hank Aaron League Bob Gibson Division.
A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the fourth, with the game tied, Jose Jimenez was at the plate when College scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Park to go in front, 4-3.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Jimenez said.
