| Panthers, Harada Blast Hornets | Derby second baseman Mitsuaki Harada had a 4-RBI performance, which helped his team grab a 12-1 win over the Enterprise Hornets. Derby, at 18-24, occupies 5th place in the Pete Rose League Roger Clemens Division.
Derby used the bat of Bret Kedzior to get the win. The designated hitter hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Panthers ahead, 6-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.
Enterprise manager Yassin Flament called the blowout loss "just something that happens."
